We made a 3-weeks backpacking tour in Morocco in the summer of 1994. It's not the very best time to travel because of the hot weather....

We entered the country by boat from Spain and through the spanish enclave of Ceuta. The boat trip is pleasant and the vistas on the Gibraltar Rock at one side and the African coast on the other side are superb.

Our itinerary:

Mohammed V Mosque; Casablanca

Ceuta -Tetouan -Chechacouen -Fes -Casablanca -Marrakech -Ouarzazate -Zagora -M'Hamid -Dad?s Valley -Boumalne -Todra Gorge -Ouarzazate -Marrakech -Tangier.
