We found Valletta unexpectedly attractive! During our stay in Malta we returned here many times. The huge city walls and bastions are impressive and having seen these for ourselves now it is easier to understand Malta's heroic history and how the country survived the Turks in the 16th century and the Nazis in World War II.

May be in Malta one day this summer, arriving by cruise ship. Do you think a day excursion would be required or can Valletta be seen on foot?? |
