Sicily's most picturesque resort

Although Taormina attracts crowds of tourists, it would be a shame to miss this place. The setting on a terrace of Mt Tauro offers splendid views over the sea and to Mt Etna. We stayed here for a week and were able to make many different excursions in the area. The place itself and its surroundings are quite picturesque; you will not be bored!

If it's beaches you're looking for, Taormina has some, but the better beaches are in next door Giardini Naxos.

Very nice photos of a peaceful looking place. How could there be a violent mafia when the landscapes and architecture are so grandiose and peaceful looking??

The Greek theatre is in such an awesome spot, no wonder its so popular. tiramisù is my favourite dessert but everything sounds great. Mt Etna is impressive. Lovely pics.
