| A look at Calitzdorp upon entering the village. |
Calitzdorp is a village in the Little Karoo, a vast semi-desert hinterland, separated by the Outenique Range from the fertile land along the Garden Route. You will find yourself staying here for probably one or two nights, but according to the local tourist information office there is more to explore in the area and they are very helpful in planning a stay of up to 7 days for you, sending you out on several walks, to wineries and along scenic drives in the area.
We stayed here for just one night and enjoyed the relaxed hospitality of the village. |
