| Down the main street of McGregor |
On our way back from the Karoo desert towards Capetown, we needed a place to spend the night in the area of Robertson. As this middle sized town did not have anything that made us jumping up and down we followed some advise we had gotten earlier from on of our South African hosts and drove 15 minutes to the south. Here we arrived in the very attractive village of McGregor. There's not much more to see than just the main drag with some side alleys, but the people live in beautiful with washed cottages with pretty gardens. But there are some excellent guesthouses, that will make you stay longer than you intended to... (yes, we do have a TIP!) |
