This historic town is located at the foot of the Langeberg Mountains and on the N2 about halfway between Capetown and the Garden Route and therefore it makes a nice stop for one or two nights. In fact, you might want to spend even longer, as there is a wide choice of good accommodation and there's more to explore in the area south of this town, called Overberg. We only spent one night here and visited the Bontebok National Park in the late afternoon, so there are not that many tips to write down. |
