FINALLY!!!! Yes, Yes I know! I should have done this years ago. It's not that I didn't want to but, you know, been busy saving the world and all. And anyway it's what to write. I mean I enjoy looking at other people's pages and I know what I find interesting but well urm...
Ok then where to start. |
Guiding Principles Universal Declaration of Human Rights
A good place to start I think. 30 articles stating you have the right be who, how, where and what you want to be but you don't have the right to use any of this as justification to restrict or prevent the rights and freedoms of anyone else. In other words:- Be nice to people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
a bit of a no-brainer you would hope, but unfortunately it ain't always the case. |
It's a small world They say the world is getting smaller what with globalisation and improved communication etc. But then you look on here at all the places you haven't visited yet and are reminded, it's not that small.
The dilemma
Travelling broadens the mind and breaks down barriers but it also pollutes the atmosphere and consumes /destroys natural resources.
I'm sure this has been debated many times on VT but what to do is still an unresolved issue.
I don't want to stop travelling for selfish, humanitarian and practical reasons but... |
So where in the world..? Where have I travelled? Far but not far enough
I'd like to think I'm working towards a time when I can travel unrestricted, but will I ever get there?
Working for a living is bad for your health, it's official! But without an alternative source of funding...
Enough of dreaming for now. |
You'll be asking where the photos are Ah! I'm not so good on this score. I'm the girl who thinks this would make a good picture as she's remembering that she left the camera back at the hotel room.
I have clothes and things (but mostly clothes) that I could tell you exactly where I bought it, even take you to the particular shop, if it's still there but photos are a little lacking.
It's not that I'm a technophobe. It's just that gadgets don't feature highly in my list of priorities. I don't have to have /learn how to use them just for the sake of it to say I can.
I don't have to keep up with the Joneses. I AM the Joneses
They only become interesting to me when I can see that they're the tool that will help me to do something else. And so cameras have just never grabbed me...yet. |
First Impressions So now I've painted this picture of someone with a HUGE wardrobe and little else.
Which isn't entirely false
but my interest is in clothes not fashion
I have no idea what is currently IN, I just know what I like.
Though I have to say, anyone who thinks wearing a dress AND trousers at the same time CLEARLY doesn't do their own washing and ironing!!!!!!!!!!! |
...but that's enough about me... ...or maybe it's not...
...maybe it's the start of something beautiful...
...maybe I'll discover a purpose for taking photos...
...or maybe not...
Who knows! |
