Jardin Nelson - Montreal
Jardin Nelson: Jardin Nelson Jardin Nelson Review

Great terrace in the back (don't be fooled by the front terrace) with incredible design. Live music, mostly jazz. Delicious shrimps salad and pizza, but everything on the menu looks great. Ingenious parasol and heating system will assure you a great evening in any conditions. It's my favorite!

Directions: In the Old Hotel Nelson in Old Montreal on Place Jacques Cartier.

Fireworks festival - Montreal
Fireworks festival: Fireworks festival

Wednsday and saturday night from 10h to 10h30, from almost every point in the city, you can admire and hear the fireworks competition from the Swan lake at Ste-Helene island. Everything in the city stop from this half hour! Best spots: Ste-Helene island (even better in La Ronde, but it's awfully crowded), Jacques-Cartier bridge (it's closed during the show, you can go by foot), Old Port, South Shore or rent a boat!
