I visited Lugano in March 2004, risking the possibility of bad weather but anxious to see the place without hordes of tourists milling around.
It couldn't have been a better trip - wonderful sunny weather and the most beautiful scenic places which were almost deserted.
Lugano itself is very beautiful and takes a while to explore but many other lovely towns and villages are easily accessible by the efficient public transport system. |

come back and... 1- walk down from carone to melide & have dinner at a Vt-home 2- will point u to a direct bus malpensa-lugano 3- will prove that hotels exists in the city centre. u have been to nealy all my favourite places. great page | loisl Sun Mar 4, 2007 20:57 UTC
Ann, your tips on Lugano are great and your pics are beautiful, they give a wonderful impression about the joly lakeside. Any more plans for trips to Switzerland...or... I miss Liechtenstein on your travelmap? Cheers, Peter |
