In October this year I had the pleasure to spend a few days in Ullapool North West Scotland. Ullapool is a small charming fisheryport , friendly people and beautiful surroundings. There are several Tourist hotels and many small Bed and Breakfast hostels.

a lovely page, bringing back great memories of Scotland ! ...I normally prefer the landscape of Scotland, but Ullapool is in fact a nice place for a stop-over !

Enjoyed your page on Ullapool Fred. My daughter (kiwi) & I went there in 75 but seems it has grown a lot since then. Our g/parents came from there.!

Ullapool looks wonderful! Yes, in Scotland there are so many whisky destilleries! And it's great to try some of those malt whiskies! Hahaha, I couldn't try all 100 either, but a few would be nice :-))
