I lived in Albuquerque for almost two years. Brief but memorable. Beautiful scenery! However, this is a desert region, which means plenty of dirt, cactus and other weird plants. I myself love greenery, which to me is a sign of life and things growing. So living here for a short time was just perfect. I still love to visit.

Note: Green Chile is the cash crop of New Mexico. It's as common as ketchup and mustard. Almost every eatery makes it available, including Domino's Pizza and Burger King. It's actually very good on a pepperoni pizza!
