Hagerstown Travel Guide: 12 reviews and 23 photos

Hagerstown was my home for about 9 months. It's a pleasant town in western maryland, and sometimes under-appreciated. It is not a new, modern or refurbished town, but that somehow adds to it's appeal for me.

It is outside the reasonable commuting distance to Baltimore or Washington, so it was an inexpensive place for me to live & work.

For Civil War buffs, there are many historic battlefields nearby. Antietam National Battlefield and Cemetary is very close.

Doesn't look a bad place for 9 months... now exactly what move do you call that (the flop?)
