MaGerks Pub & Grill

It's rare that we find a place that we actually anticipate going to. MaGerks is one of those places. My sister and I dropped in a few weeks ago, and loved the food so much, we've been talking about it ever since.

Favorite Dish: My absolute favorite thing on the menu is the Buffalo Chicken & Cheese eggrolls.... The Tempura Shrimp and the Old Bay Fries are great too!

Comparison: about average

Price: US$11-20

Bombay

A clean, friendly and delicious place inside the Harford Mall.

The daily buffet here is quite a bargain. The food is genuine Punjabi. It is fresh, but you'll probably need to add some spice....

Comparison: less expensive than average

Price: US$11-20

Sakura Japanese Steakhouse

Maybe it's because of my experience as a Sushi chef, but I wasn't impressed with the Sushi here...... the rice was the worst part.
They had an ususual rule: you couldn't order anything from the grill while sitting at the Sushi Bar. Very strict, did not consider the customer, even when the place was empty.

The grilled portion of the restaurant is entertaining and fabulous......

Josef's

I'd say this is the finest German restaurant in Harford county, and people often travel out from Baltimore to try their cuisine.

Favorite Dish: I've had the Schnitzle twice, it was delicious both times. Good Wheat Beers here too.

This is my first experience with this chain of restaurants, it sure is an improvement over our only other option: Taco Bell.

Buontempo Brothers - Bel Air
Buontempo Brothers

I've known this place through other names: Fortunato Brothers; Frank's pizza..... but over the years, the recipes, quality and service of this place remains consistent.

Favorite Dish: Even with their ever expanding menus, I still crave a slice of their plain cheese pizza occasionally.

Comparison: least expensive

Directions: Downtown Bel Air, on Main Street, just past the courthouse.
