When I arrived at the Dutch capital I was met by some people I be-friended whilst on holiday in Spain. Not one of them could get over the fact that I'd come to their capital city for a holiday! Let's just say that the whole thing was an enjoyable experience. Being from England I certainly had my eyes opened - but when all is said an done, Amsterdam is not just the Red Light District and legalised soft drugs, it's a whole lot more! |
