You have to read my German's page before this one... just so you understand a little more what this is all about.

You have to know that the Frankfurt airport is extremely busy... it took us almost an extra hour in the plane before being able to land... and we were able to see a couple others turning around with us... but this is really usual at this airport since it's a strategic convergence destination in Europe. There's actual plane trafic were there's dozen of airplanes waiting in line to go on the tracks and stucks exactly like you would be on a major city highway!

So my plane finally landed in Frankfurt 10 minutes before my plane to Austria was leaving!

I speak french, english and spanish... and of course none of them are an official language in Germany... I can even say that maybe nobody ever heard about these language in Germany. No I'm kidding... but that was very sad from a suposely well organized country!

I tried to communicate as far as I could with the Lufthansa's staff to get another plane. They accepted to transfer my ticket to an upcoming flight after a couple of pain doing weird body language.

The departure time was wrong and nobody knew when it would be ready and at wich gate I was suppose to show up... the Frankfurt airport is very huge and finding your gate may take you 15-20 minutes if you're in the right direction at first! In fact 15-20 minutes, it's the time between when they put the gate number on the panels and the time that the plane actually leave... so you have to stay the eye wide open all the time in front of that f**** thing and run for the plane, praying that you're going in the right direction!

My boss was waiting for me in Austria to pick me up at the Salzburg (what a great place) airport so I needed to reach him and stuff... I went to get some money and tried the public phone. The only thing that was kind of familiar to me on the phone was... a button called S.O.S. ! I tried it and there was some germans chick speaking germans and hanging up at me because I wasn't speaking there language????? What the hell??

After a couple hour in front of the panel, I was almost dying when a nice blonde girl stop beside me and start to ask me question with her english-glitchy-german accent... she was doing an analisis with foreign travellers, on how good is the Frankfurt Airport...! Achtung! On top of miserable answers I gave her, I had the chance to took her cell phone to call my boss wich was really nice from her. Thank you again miss... If she ever read this page, she'll remember!

So I've been in front of that stupid big old fashion panel that you can see on the picture, waiting to see my plane along with the gate... it's been posted, canceled and reposted for almost 12 hours... making me going at different gates all the time... that was a good exercise , I was getting really good at understanding all the different path.

I got my plane... I don't remember when... probably 15 minutes after it shows up on the panel... I finaly go up in the air... and then in Salzburg... they realize that they've lost my luggage... works stuff included.
