"A SWEEP THROUGH IRELAND" Ireland by Pawtuxet

I think everyone's trip to Ireland starts with a stop at Durty Nelly's. I heard about it before we went, and everyone who has talked to me about their trips has mentioned it. Worth the stop. Good beer...good food...and an interesting little place. When you come out of Shannon Airport, you head toward Limerick. About 4 miles along the way, you get off at the Bunratty Castle. Durty Nelly's is next door to the castle.
- Pros:Warm, wonderful people

The legend of the lady is just amazing. Great to see that long ago photo of you! What a journey you had in 1980. It's charming to see such fun and such beauty. I am longing to go to Ireland and maybe some day, it will happen.
My son & I are planning a trip to Ireland and we're considering flying into Shannon. If we do, we'll head STRAIGHT to Durty Nelly's!! ;D
The ghost lady looks really ghostly, if there is such a word. A strange experience.
Durty pictures? Oh my.
Wow, this is amazing! Thank you for sharing.
You certainly outdid me on the castles, I didn't see that many. I'm not surprised you can't name them - after so many pints...:)) and years. The ghost lady looks uncanny. And I also think the Irish are just wonderful.
Fun! Thanks for sharing.
This is really fascinating to see. I travelled the Ring of Kerry in June this year, but wasn't fortunate enough to have an experience like yours. Thanks for sharing it.
Hi! Yes, I am trying to see as much of Ireland as possible while I am here, but I can see that you saw a lot as well. The Ghost Lady, was that in Kerry?
Great pics and verynice information about this wonderful place!;)Congratulations!
