Seau's The Restaurant: Stop in for lunch
  • Tip Rating:

  • Restaurant Name: Seau's The Restaurant

We had a nice lunch here after stopping in at the Nordstrom's discount store. My husband caught on right away...for me, I'm a bit slow on the sports stars. Guess it is a pretty popular spot for those "in the know". Burgers are good...salad crisp and refreshing.

Thought I'd give you a view of the interiors as well as the exterior. It's pretty standard all American sports theme.

Our VT connection....Lmkluque guided us to this wonderful spot for our brief but pleasant VT meeting. Great to finally see who was on the other end of the emails. The restaurant is lush with plants and spanish decor, fountains and tiles. We sat in a secluded area ... cool, quiet and comfortable... sipping on our Margueritas, chomping on chips and salsa. SMACK, go my lips at the thought of it!! :-) Who needs dinner?

The Oceanaire: OCEANAIRE - Seafood Room
  • Tip Rating:
  • Satisfaction:
  • Restaurant Name: Oceanaire

This new restaurant has a wonderful combination of fine cuisine, decor and service. Fish is the specialty, and the deserts are enormous...suggest sharing. So decadant! I dared not try one.
The restaurant has only been open for a few months. It's in the Gaslamp District at 400 J Street...at the corner of 4th. (?) I believe. Be prepared for some elaborate pampering.
    Sorry....I didn't take any photos.

Thanks for the tips! I'll be visiting here at the end of a Vegas/SoCal trip this November so will be sure to swing by again when I have more ideas in my head! Gillybob greetings

Janet, you have an excellent page here. My favorite spot in San Diego is of course Balboa Park because of the greenery and of course those beautiful old trees!!
