Cmolas Transportation Tips by Pawtuxet

A road trip from Rzeszow.

When travelling to Kolbuszowa and Cmolas, it would be wise to fly into Krakow or Rzeszow rather than Warsaw. Train service to Rzeszow is good and pleasant. From Rzeszow you must rent a car or taxi for the short drive. It shouldn't take more than half an hour or so. Pleasant roadways with a number of charming scenes along the way. I love the farmers...their horse drawn wagons, the cabbages in the fields, the primitive art of the shrines. Take your time....absorb it.
ON MY RECENT TRIP I WAS FORTUNATE TO SEE STORKS IN THE FIELDS! YOU CAN ALSO KEEP YOUR EYE OPEN FOR MISTLETOE IN THE TOPS OF THE POPLAR TREES. AND THEN OF COURSE THERE ARE THE BIRCHES.....

Driving south from Warsaw

In 2006 it was amazing to me to see so many changes in Poland overall, but in the southern farm area in particular. Travelling to little Cmolas has always involved lesser roads, but in today's environment there are many new roads and larger gas stations...more businesses along the roadway, and many more houses springing up in all directions. I didn't feel anywhere near as rural as I did just a couple of short years ago. All of Poland has come a long way in these last 10 years. Their progress is stunning.
