    The Black Madonna...
    The entire monastary ...enclave...was a series of one art form following another. We were drenched with the rain, but warmed by the atmosphere of this place.

    • I couldn't resist adding one more photo of this building ... which is part of the monastary which houses the Black Madonna. The colors of the buildings and the dome...the paintings...the statues...truly beautiful.

    • This is a post card I chose to keep...she's beautiful, isn't she? She is the Black Madonna, a painting which is housed at Czestochowa...said to be miraculous. Thousands of pilgrims come annually to see the painting and seek the miracle of health or some other resolution. Of course we are not allowed to take photographs of the original painting. It is closely protected.
