We travelled with our kids as often as we could. If nothing else, we explored corners of our own state by car on a Sunday afternoon. We sent them to camps, we took day trips, we went overseas every year if even for only 4 or 5 days. They experienced as much as we could pack into their growing years. It paid off. They're wonderful inclusive, loving adults who travel as much as possible, pay attention to environmental matters, exercise their right to vote, and are open to culturally diverse populations, foods, and concerns. Travel with your kids...and then travel for yourself. Don't stop exploring. And when you can't travel anymore... tune in to VT and explore some more. The world is smaller all the time.. and hopefully the world will become as much a family as we have become here at VT. |

| | Our cottage The cottage is a sweet little spot located at the rear of our property. Warm sunshine pours through the french glass doors at the back of the kitchen and floods the sunshine yellow rooms with light. It's very popular with business people who are in RI for a few months, people who are transferring to RI and need interim housing, as well as people who are from other states and want to visit RI friends and family for a month or two in the summer or over holidays. Totally renovated a couple of years ago, we outfitted it completely with IKEA closets, lighting, and furniture. We do short term rental by the month. In case you plan to travel this way, take a look at our little Cottage and if we have an opening, VT folks are always welcome. More pics available on my Pawtuxet page...including a studio apartment (short term) |
