it ain't here: If you want Chinese food...

I hear that each chinese food eatery in town here has at least one or two dishes that are yummy... i reckon it's up to you to eat there enough times to find them.... i haven't had the money to do that but what i have tried wasn't great.

I think it's just too redneck a town to appreciate good Chinese food. sad... but true. Save your money. Go to mcdonalds or something.

Knotty pine cafe: omg

The food tasted good the burger was rather large...and greasy.
If you don't mind paying 5 dollars for a hot dog or 4.50 for a grilled cheese sandwich or egg salad sandwich,perhaps 8.25 for a 4 piece chicken strip dinner, then i say go for it. she even offered me mayonaise to which i foolishly replied sure then charged me 1.50 for two small scoops of mayonaise. The only upside to this place that i found was the free drink refills. Drink up!

Personally i found the waitress to have a "chip on her shoulder", and the homeade tasting food to be greasy and over priced.

Favorite Dish: Cheeseburger not priced too badly.

Haunted: Main Street Grille...

This place has actually had "the experts" come in and check out their haunt.... they know of at least 2 "permanent" haunters... a young 8 year old girl, and an older man. The food here..ah... not so great, i thought. Just a personal opinion, but a fun history of Zane Grey lined the walls, and the haunting deal was spooky neat...

Favorite Dish: I had the patty melt.. like i said.. not impressed.. edible.. not great.
