Glacier Brewhouse: Don't miss this one! Glacier Brewhouse Review

This was my favorite place in Anchorage to have a farewell dinner and drink with my tour groups. It's not too expensive and there's a good atmosphere, good food, and good beer! :-) This photo is of the Dragoman group I traveled with in June 2001 - Rob, Ian, Sally, Tove, Sylvi, Me, and Annie. I picked up this group in Arizona and spent 6 weeks traveling with them to Alaska. Some, including Rob, Tove, and Annie traveled with Dragoman for over 6 months coming from Patagonia through South and Central America!
This place has a good selection of handcrafted brews and delicious food!

Favorite Dish: Everything I tried here was excellent.

Simon and Seafort's Saloon and Grill: Don't Miss The Fresh Seafood! Simon and Seaforts Review

This restaurant has a very nice atmosphere with a great view of Cook Inlet. This is especially impressive at sunset. The food is all of the highest quality.

Favorite Dish: I was only here once and had salmon. DELICIOUS!

Very good selection of beer and good food. First floor dining with nice casual atmosphere and glass enclosed brewery. Upstairs bar with outdoor patio and views of the Port of Anchorage.
