Nice is the 5th largest city in France, the estimated population is 400,000, the city has an international airport for easy access and many varieties of hotels one can choose from!

Nice faces the sea and thanks to sea breezes the climate is always mild in winter and never too hot in the summer.
During our trip in the month of April - May the average temperature is +14 degrees. Due to the mountainous area we experienced some unsteady weather usually on the same day. If clouds are in the forcast you may have a few hours rain next some great sunshine and quickly a storm approaches.. therefore, be prepared at all times ;o)

As anyone will tell you, the best mode of transportation around the city is by foot!!!
If you are arriving by car, be prepared to pay a bit for parking. There are several parking areas throughout the city, probably even one close to your destination so look around!
There are bus lines that are handy to take you places (try the "sun Pass" see tips section for more information!)
There are several rental agents around Nice from which you can rent things like bikes and scooters.
Being on the coast, if you are interested there are even boat rentals!

In Nice there is ALWAYS something to do, something to see, something to taste.. you just need the time!!
