I lived 4 years in Lyon for my studies. It is such an exciting town!!! I recommend to the people visiting France and I guess Paris to take a day or two to visit Lyon. This is only 2 hours from Paris by train (TGV)!
Lyon is not a very big city but it is so pleasant to live. I have to say I prefer it much more than Paris.
