The Vatican City

Inside St. Peter's Basilica-The Vatican City
The Vatican is an amazing sight. When you visit here it is not hard to see why the Catholic Church has had such power for such a long time. To build the Vatican nowadays would cost billions of dollars. It just shows you the incredible amount of wealth the Catholic church now has.
My great regret is I never had the chance to visit the Cistine Chapel. The waiting time in the queue was 2 hours which was longer than I could wait! So be aware of this when visiting.
St. Peter's Basilica-Vatican City
The Vatican is the smallest country in the world. It is also well known for the Swiss Guards. They are the soldiers that guard the Vatican.

Highlights for sure! Makes me want to go back - so many places - so little money!

Very nice pictures of Vatican and great information on how to arrange the tour into the gardens. When I was in Vatican, I was just curious how to get there. Now I know I should have phoned in advance...
