"London - Yes I've Lived Here- ..." a London Travel Page by Groverdean

I've lived in London for a total of about three and a half years of my life on seperate ocassions. Firstly from mid 1993 to mid 1994 and from 1999 to mid 2001. On both occasions I found London to be a fascinating place, deep in character.

London is a city that can be very unappealing at times on the surface. However, the more of that surface you scratch away the more rewarding the gem is that you will uncover. There is simply an endless stream of activities to keep you interested for a lifetime.
The people? Well I often here comments about London being an impersonal place. That has never been my experience here. It is probably the most multicultural city on the planet, so it is welcoming to allcomers.

Yes London is a big city, but make the effort to get caught up in it, and you will enjoy the ride. My pages here will only tell half the story of the endless stream of activities I've done here. Don't limit yourself to the traditional sights. Take the leap and visit some of the less travelled lanes and you will enjoy this city alot!
