The large wooden structure pictured is not the original Trojan horse, just an imaginative replica built by the Turkish government so visitors would have something distinctive to photograph when they visit the ruins of Troy. |
|  | The reason being is that when you see the ruins, it is extremely hard to picture what this place actually did look like. Although there is a nice view out to the plains (as pictured)! |
