Outside the Old City Walls-Damascus-Syria
Damascus is a fascinating city. Historically it is rich, supposedly being the oldest continually inhabited city in the world. When you walk down the street you can see that Syrian society is a mix. You come across women wearing their veils and others dressed like Western women.
Omayyad Mosque-Damascus-Syria
The Souq al-Hamadiyyeh is awesome! The Omayyad Mosque is probably the most beautiful of all mosques I have seen! It was built in 705.

Have written a page about these people in my Syria pages. They were so warm and kind to me in Saudi Arabia and I lost my heart. Gotta get over there very very soon.
