In the photo I look calm, however, if you have ever tried standing directly in the middle of the Champs Elysees and had your photo taken with mad Parisians drving everywhere, you'll know there is actually plenty of turmoil going on inside me! I love walking up and down the Champs Elysees there is so much to see. One of my favourite Parisian activities.

Some people would probably think that most bridges are boring. Well a walk along the Seine will change that. Each bridge has it's own story, it's own unique architecture and character. The photograph is of Pont Alexandre named after Czar Alexander III. His son,Nicholas II opened the bridge in 1900. It was built to celebrate the creation of the Russia-French Alliance.

More than just Gargoyles, there are plenty of other facets to the simply amazing architecture of the Cathedral. Like this door, with its intricate iron lace pattern.
