| The Palace of Versailles Gardens |
The reason why you come to Versailles is to visit the world famous Chateau are the incredible gardens.
As usual I fell victim to that curse of travel that happens every time I visit France. The Chateau was shut the day I ventured to Versailles!
Nonetheless I stayed and walked the gardens which are enormous. |

|  | The gardens are kept in immaculate condition, which when given the size of them must be an enormous task performed by a small army.
Versailles is a great day trip from Paris. It only takes about 1 hour by train.
My tip...make sure everything is open and functioning, on the day you decide to visit Versailles! |
