By plain - there are a lot of airlines flying to Palma De Mallorca. From Barcelona is only 40min flight.
You stay in the city center - it is easy to get arround by bus.
Definetely you must use the Soller Railway! which is linked from Palma city to Soller town, and the railway operates since 192 and still retains its original character!! During your journey - the tarin offers you a series of impressions which can be only be percieved from the iron railway tracks - beautiful views!! must try! Don;t go on rush hours as it will be full train and you won't enjoy your trip...
