It can be very very very hot in summer. Coming from the tropics, I have never experienced anything like this. I guess it's a conspiracy to bind you to the hotels and the casinos.

The light plane ride crossing the Grand Canyon is the most death defying experience I have had. It's slightly worse than falling off a cliff edge. But, it's the best way to see the canyon, and the quickest way to Las Vegas. So, live with it… Americans are good flyers.... Oh, by the way, the loud beep is not a crash warning. It apparently happens when you try to land cross wind…

Being an Australian, I didn't know that the legal age in Las Vegas was 21. I found out as we were leaving the city. I was 18… Lucky, didn't get arrested.
