Winter 2000 in California This was the first winter vacation I had ever taken--and what a trip! California is great anytime, but even better when you're coming from a place with 14 inches of snow on the ground! We spent most of our time in Southern California where my aunt lives, but also took a road trip up to Carmel-by-theSea and San Francisco.

Hi Tara, I just had a frozen banana at Balboa Island. If you come back to So CA take a trip to San Juan Capistrano and check out the historical "Los Rios" section near the mission & behind the train depot! It's great! I enjoyed your pages, Kat |
