"Singapore the gateway of South East Asia" Singapore by beachboy

Singapore Travel Guide: 11,392 reviews and 26,416 photos

Singapore, a relatively small neighbourhood country located just south of Peninsular Malaysia. Singapore Changi International Airport has long been established as the gateway to visit South East Asia.

Despite of its size, Singapore is known as the most developed cities around SEA. The city is well organised, clean and with the comprehensive coverage of the MRT, getting around in Singapore has become very easy. I've visited S'pore couple of times and my last visit was during Christmas season year 2000. I've spent 5 days there, first 2 staying in my uncle's HDB flat near Laketown and another 3 in Tropical Hotel, Chinatown.

2 nights in Chua Chu Kang, December 2003.
