Our extended family rented a house outside of Cambridge for a week in July. To get any where from our vacation rental you had to go through Cambridge to get to Route 50. When visiting Cambridge make sure you stop in at the visitor center (at Sailwinds park) just past the bridge over the Choptank river. The friendly ladies there will give you maps, brochures about things to do in the area.

The town fathers are making an effort to revive the downtown area. There are some restaurants and art galleries in this area.
