We began and ended a Ireland Bike tour in Ennis. We arrived 2 days early and used Ennis to get adjusted to Ireland. As it turned out, Ennis is a good base to use for day trips as it has a busy bus station located at the railway station. We took daytrips to Galway, Cork and to Limerick while based in Ennis.
