I visited Pompei in october and I can assure you that is was still warm weather. So if you have the chance to go there, don't hesitate to choose the autumn! You will meet many tourists as well, but you will enjoy more your visit.

A lot of good info, stunning pictures and... I liked Pompei a lot (and Capri, Vesuvio and Amalfi coast). Among ancient ruins only Ephesos in Turkey can compete with Pompei. |
