I visited Dublin on a short break weekend. The city was bustling, full of tourists like me taking in the sites.

I remember feeling a bit claustophobic trying to cross the road there were so many people, no doubt due to the vast appeal of the Irish capital.

Dublin is pleasant in parts, grotty in others and seemed to be a building site, one of the spin offs of the Celtic Tiger.

Over all I have fond memories of Dublin, however I did prefer its coastal sister Dun Laoghaire...a little more relaxed there.
