Restaurant Name: B.Y.O.
Bring Your Own. Wine that is! It's perfectly normal in South Africa to bring your own wine to a restaurant. You will just have to pay a little fee for "corkage" (opening the bottle), something between 7.50 and 15 ZAR. So, if you have tasted a great wine during a wine-tasting, buy a (few) bottle(s) and take it to the restaurant! On the other hand, it's also perfectly normal, in case you didn't finish your bottle, to take the remainder back home. Just like you can get a doggie bag everywhere.
