150 years ago, in 1853 to be precise, the famous painter Vincent van Gogh was born in the small town of Zundert. The whole community wants to celebrate this event with numerous activities.

A yearly event is the giant Flower Parade (dahlias only), held on the first Sunday in September. This year the parade was fully dedicated to Vincent Van Gogh.

It was a breathtaking and spectacular parade of magnificent floats full of sounds, movement, music and show. Also thanks to some leading marching bands from the Netherlands and Belgium.

According to the people of Zundert, this flower parade is the largest in the whole world ...

Hoi Myriam, hoe is het? Prachtig hè die bloemcorso, en ieder jaar weer iets nieuws bedenken, ik heb familie in Zundert wonen, die zijn altijd erg lang bezig met het bloemencorso.
