The reason for our visit to Mechelen was the Hanswijk Processie. This procession goes out every year, somewhere in the month of May. It's a huge procession with 1800 walk-ons and 120 horses! More pictures are in my travelogue.

Je moest Mechelen nu zien... de Grote Markt is weer ok!
Is dit de plaats voor een volgende meeting ? Het restaurant (alweer :-)) ziet er in ieder geval reeds goed uit .
St. Rombouts Cathedral and the flowershop look great! I do hope to taste those huge and yummie salads someday :-)
