Lucca is totally different from the other Tuscan cities. It is situated in northern Tuscany and the city is flat and green with lots of trees planted along the city walls and on the piazza's.
Lots of great shops along Via Fillungo in the heart of old Lucca, especially shoeshops.
We saw many bikes in Lucca and they are easily to rent in the city.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Another atmosphere but certainly not less worth!
