A little village stretching like an arch of the moon around a quiet basin. Never have I felt the way I did when I walked into that green indefiniteness, with such a sense of peace and fulfilment". by Guy de Maupassant
Sigh ... so beautiful, so picture perfect ... Portofino is like a postcard, everywhere you walk.
Portofino must be one of the most expensive cities in Italy. It's the place for the VIPs from all over the world, the yachts in the marina are HUGE and yet it's a combination of intimacy, luxury, perfect scenery, international flair and typical Italian atmosphere.
If I were to have a second home abroad, this would be the perfect location.
