On our way to the Med, we visited this beautiful provençal town.
L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue was originally a fisherman's village, originating at the banks of the river Sorgue. The river is still there and the few scenic wheels that remain from the 19th century give the town its characteristic feel.
Like in most of the touristy provençal towns, l'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is filled with antiques shops ... and restaurants!
