Thanks for passing by. I hope you will enjoy my travel pages. I have put much time and effort in building them but I won't do so any longer. I - and a lot of the other 'old' members - much dislike the new VT format but no-one seems to care. However, it is US who made VT what it is today. Thank you VT (NOT).

Porto

June 2011: Portugal

In June last we spent three wonderful weeks in Portugal. We toured northern and central Portugal and spent the last 10 days in the Algarve. We enjoyed every minute of it.

Tala Bay

March 2011: Jordan

Again we spent a lovely week in Jordan. This time we only relaxed, on the beach, by the pool. It was hot, hot, hot!

Ciutat de les Arts i les Sciènces by Calatrava

November 2010: Valencia, Spain

Valencia is a great destination for a citytrip. We had gorgeous weather (upto 23°C) ... we walked a lot ... we cycled ... we loved the architecture of Calatrava but also the gothic/roman/... buildings in the ciutat vella. And last but not least: we ate and drank very well!

Praia do Vau

June 2010: Algarve, Portugal

We truly enjoyed our vacation in the Algarve. Kind people, nice cities, picturesque villages, spectacular beaches, beautiful nature, great food and wine, ... It was all there for us to explore.

Hurghada

March 2010: Hurghada, Egypt

For our usual late-winter break we chose again for Egypt. It's just for relaxing at the pool or at the beach, and it's only a 5 hour flight away. Perfect for us!

Les 2 Alpes

June 2009: Languedoc & French Alps

We spent a fantastic 3-week vacation at the coast (Languedoc) and in the mountains (Les Deux Alpes). We relaxed at the beach, made rooadtrips in our car, in the Minervois area (wine!) and high in the mountains, my hubby cycled l'Alpe d'Huez amongst others, and we visited some old and remarkable cities. I was sorry we had to come home. :-(

Wadi Rum

March 2009: Jordan

After having spent at least ten spring holidays in Egypt, we thought it was time for something different. Jordan it was, this time. And we don't regret it. This trip was a mixture of culture, nature and beach as you can see on my Jordan page. Enjoy!
