Castel Gandolfo is the summerresidence of the pope.

Castel Gandolfo is a part of the Castelli Romani ( the castles of Rome ). It's a vulcanic area..........there are 3 craters...and two of them are lakes now.
In the third one...we lived for two years.
In the third one they made a golfcomplex, a quite famous one in Italy.

In the lake we used to swim in the summer.
The lake is about 176 meters deep.
