Je suis né à Londres

London is where I've lived all of my life, and to be honest I'd prefer to get away from here, but looking from a foreigner's perspective I can see why it's such a popular city. It is very culturally abundant in historic architecture and interesting sites, and there is so much to see and do here that you will be able to come back here over and over again and still have something new.
While the suburbs are nothing special, the city centre is a really fantastic place to walk about in. I prefer NOT to use the tube to get around, as not only is it hot and dirty, it's much nicer to simply walk where you want to go (providing it's not too far of course).

London's architecture

Compared to places like New York or Frankfurt, London is a modestly flat city with its only tall buildings being Canary Wharf and a few others in a small area at the Isle of Dogs. But like Rome or Paris its appeal is in its history and timeless architecture of the buildings that have housed some of the world's greatest powers in the past.

London's Parks

My personal favourite part of London is its parks. Whenever you visit you should always take a stroll through one of them. Hyde Park, St James's Park and Regent's Park are the three main ones, but there are many others around town. They are all very peaceful places to get away from the rush of the city.
