    You can take a rent a car, day tour, or bus to all these places.

    • I enjlyed Celestun (a small fisherman's village, two hour drive from Merida). Rent a car, bus or take a day tour from Merida.

    Natural Mangrove forest is kept almost untouched wtih thousands of flamingos. We took a boat tour with Alberto (famous tour guide, he speaks English and Spanish). After seeing flamingos, we went to the village and had seafood at Restaurant Celestun right on the beach. Golf of Mexico is very dream like, and the food was good!
