I've been living in Brussels for a number of years now and can't think of another place I'd like to be based. It is very cosmopolitan (you don't have to speak anything but English, altho French, Dutch, German, Spanish, Italian will also get you where you want to go) but also very manageable -- you can cross downtown in about 20 mins on foot. |

| Pros: | "Multicultural, multilingual, small and manageable; architecture" | | Cons: | "cramped at times; construction; driving manners (argh, argh, argh!) and traffic jams" | | In A Nutshell: | "love it!!" |
