Nightlife Spot: Byward Market
The Byward Market is a several block ara just east of Parliament Hill and the U.S. Embassy that consists of restaurants, diners, open-air food markets, bookstores, cafes, clubs, bars, and even a TV-station's headquarters. During the summer months, when the air is hot and humid, throngs of people cram the Byward's streets, shopping, eating, drinking, meeting people, or just plain old people watching from outside tables. In the nighttime, especially on the weekends, young people flock to the area's various clubs are bars to enjoy Friday and Saturday nights.
